Senior Assistant Coordinator to the IU Peer Coach Program -
August 2014 - Present
As an IU Peer Coach, assist the IUPC Program coordinators, Alice Dobie-Galuska and Daniel Lersh, with the administration of the IUPC program and to support and manage the Indiana University Peer Coaches (IUPCs), as well as, facilitate communications between the IUPCs and program coordinators. The team of Assistant Coordinators are responsible for overseeing the IUPC site manager program; planning and creating monthly bonding events for all of the Cox Exploratory Scholars program members; assisting with updating the IU Peer Coach online manual; managing the iupeer email account; managing communications through email, GroupMe and Remind; and serve on an Advisory Board to the program coordinators.

Organize and oversee managerial program.

Maintain shift checks and log absences and shift trades while compiling the information and sending to Alice Dobie-Galuska and Daniel Lersch bi-weekly.

Attend and participate in monthly manager meetings.
Monthly Bonding Events

Propose ideas for monthly bonding events prior to the start of each semester and send them to Alice Dobie Galuska and Daniel Lersch for approval.

Select time and date for events and arrange for locations.

Interface with coordinators and OVPUE administrative assistant to arrange for hospitality request and reservation of on-campus venues.
Communications

Use Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Element to create informational slides in relation to IU Peer Coach work

Manage GroupMe and Remind app communications

Send reminders about meetings at least 24 hours prior to a monthly meeting, bonding events, team meetings or any important or mandatory meetings.

Send reminders periodically throughout the semester per request from program coordinators.
Advisory Board (Whole Team)

Attend one-on- one monthly meetings with Alice Dobie-Galuska and Daniel Lersch and IUPC Team Leaders to provide monthly updates on all the above, assist in choosing new initiatives for the program and for the teams, hear updates on on-going team projects, and discuss any issues or concerns of the IUPCs/Cox Exploratory Scholars.
